Meet Linda

I’m Linda Giannosa, founder of Downsizing Navigator—and a teacher at heart.My work is grounded in decades of teaching, real estate, entrepreneurship, and serving older adults, along with specialized certification as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist® and training through the Society of Certified Senior Advisors.I created Downsizing Navigator after seeing how many people wanted to move but felt stuck and overwhelmed by their belongings.My understanding is personal as well. I have helped family members through downsizing—or smartsizing—and have faced the process myself. I decided to use my teaching skills to address this concern.I developed practical, educational classes that help people understand why getting started can be so difficult. They discover where to begin, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Smartsizing is the New Downsizing—How to Become Unstuck and Reduce Overwhelm is offered throughout the year at various locations. The class is free to host and free to participants.Each class lasts approximately 90 minutes. Additional follow-up sessions may be scheduled based on interest and need.Community organizations, professional groups, senior living communities, and members of the Trusted Professional Network may host the educational experience.Contact Linda to ask about attending or hosting a future class.
